Virtual Psychotherapy Based in SF
From the outside looking in, you have it all together. You say the right things to the right people, you go to the right places, and seemingly have enough, but internally you are feeling uncertain and unsettled. You are searching for a deeper sense of belonging and contentment, but you worry about being perceived as ungrateful for not appreciating what you have. You may struggle to know yourself, and as a result, it feels hard to let others get to know you, and even harder to ask for help.
My name is Caleb Birkhoff and I’m a San Francisco and California based therapist and my goal is to help you find a way out of the silent suffering. Often my clients are searching for some indication that they’re on the right path, their path, and this begins by acknowledging the emotional struggles that might be holding them back.
I help those looking to uncover a deeper sense of self and find some direction, which in turn leads to a richer more fulfilling life. Together we can explore all the angles, consider all the options, and uncover those areas where you are feeling discomfort and disconnection, and work towards lasting relief. With therapy you can shed the thing you were supposed to do, or be, or feel, and pick your own path. I use humor to cut through the difficulty, add levity, and reflect on what already works and bolster those areas that might be keeping you stuck or feeling isolated.
I can support you in shedding expectations and developing a deeper sense of trust in yourself. Call me for a complimentary 15 minute consultation at (415) 990-1452 or click below.
